This course will provide auditors with confidence and a practical understanding of data and analytics and how these apply to an Internal Audit environment. This programme is practical, and, for example, all auditors will learn to write and embed detailed data analytics tests into Audit Programmes as well as perform common data analysis tasks (validating, transforming, analysis and visualisation) using Excel or an Audit Analytics tool.

The programme includes an introduction to scripting and writing procedures for automation and then scheduling of analytic testing.
It is not software specific and so it does not matter whether attendees analyse their audit programme data using Excel, Power BI, Arbutus Analyzer, IDEA, ACL Galvanize or Alteryx.
